6.Think about a Chemical free household- purchasing Organic, Biodynamic products or even growing your own vege garden - Permaculture is a great example. Living a chemical free life-style as much as you can - directly or indirectly reduce your green-house gases.
Food- Organic or Biodynamic from your own garden, local farmers or supermarkets.
Eating a partially or wholly vegetarian diet- decrease meat consumption. Yes, animal farming does add to greenhouse gases. A complicated story about being high on the food chain, farting and belching!
Chemical free cleaning- ie fibre based cleaning products like Enjo. I have been using Enjo products for about 7 years and I still have my original fibres (when worn out you can send back for recycling)- you only need to use water and a small amount as no rinsing is required. I have eliminated most of my chemicals except for dishes and clothes washing detergents.
Chemical free building materials/ and recycling old products that may be less toxic.
