Albert, the Journo

Just recently Albert insisted on staying up to watch a doco called "The iceberg that sunk the Titanic". Well, he is 8 and so precious. Yes, on this occasion I said. We watched the show and while he was documenting his findings, told me to "shhh please mum, I'm concentrating" That says it all!

Ever since Earth Hour and the education that has started at school I don't talk too much about consequences, just do things and highlight that this will help, ie our new Bokashi composting bin has been a group effort- emptying the fertiliser for the garden etc.
Also he has turned off his TV and Playstation every single time he uses it. However the room is a mess- who cares!
