  • ‘Carbon neutral’ is a very lose term at the moment as there is no regulatory body that defines this exactly in Australia. As the trend continues there will be regulation and accreditation set in law. The Climate Group is working on an international standard at the moment.

  • Most are considering themselves carbon neutral if they make energy reductions and efficiency changes, then purchase carbon credits for remaining unavoidable emissions from car and air travel. The level of embodied emissions monitored varies.
