This page is devoted to giving back.

I have chosen The Fistula Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia because as a woman and a midwife I can empathize wholeheartedly with these women. However I have no idea what it would be like. I first heard about the plight of these women on Oprah (what a facilitator she is! so real, so approachable) and I wondered how I could help- little ole me?

The Fistula hospital is dedicated to restoring health and dignity to women (injured in childbirth) through support programs that provide treatment and prevention at the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.

Africa has enough to worry about without placing global warming on top of that.

The picture is of one of these women.

The next project ZYC will be supporting will be The Children of Chernobyl.
